The choice between Prenn Pass or Mimosa Pass depends on current traffic reports at the time of arrival.

Heavy truck traffic carrying vegetables from the highlands often slows down the climb through Bao Loc Pass. Weekend congestion is common as city residents head to the mountains, specifically on Friday afternoons and Sunday evenings. Fog frequently reduces visibility on the final approach to the plateau during early morning or late night trips.
