Road Decision
We utilise the CT01 Ho Chi Minh City to Long Thanh to Dau Giay expressway for the first segment to exit the metropolitan area quickly. From Dau Giay, we transition onto the dedicated Dau Giay to Phan Thiet expressway, which bypasses the slow-moving traffic of National Highway 1. This modern corridor is preferred because it avoids the high density of motorbikes and local township speed limits. We only exit the expressway at the Ba Bau intersection to make the final approach into Phan Thiet and Mui Ne. This route is the most efficient path currently available in 2026.
Operational Reality
Heavy congestion at the Ho Chi Minh City entrance gates is the primary factor affecting arrival times, especially on Friday afternoons. Weekend traffic toward the coast often peaks on Saturday mornings, while Sunday evenings see heavy return flow at the Long Thanh toll booth. Tropical downpours during the monsoon months can briefly reduce visibility on the Dau Giay to Phan Thiet stretch. We monitor real-time navigation to bypass any sudden accidents on the main expressway artery.
Seasonal Notes
The dry season from November to April offers the most reliable driving conditions with clear skies and low wind. Between May and October, sudden afternoon storms can lead to minor flooding in low-lying areas of Ho Chi Minh City.
Pickup & Drop-off Specifics
In Ho Chi Minh City, we provide door-to-door service, though narrow alleys in District 4 or District 10 may require a short walk to the main road. Most Mui Ne resorts are located along Nguyen Dinh Chieu street, which is fully accessible to all our vehicle types. There are no height restrictions for vans or SUVs at the standard hotel lobbies in this coastal area. Drivers will assist with luggage directly at the hotel entrance.

Review for Ho Chi Minh City to Mui Ne

We were 4 people going from The Ritz Saigon to Mui Ne and booked the 11 seater limousine. Very comfortable for the long trip. The driver was already waiting with a name card which was a nice touch 👍 Booking had small hiccups — they first sent the price in HUF instead of USD so had to ask again, and PayPal had some issue at first but we managed at the end. But what really impressed me — right when we arrived in Mui Ne, my friend realized he unfortunately left his phone in the car. I contacted them straight away, they called the driver immediately, found the phone in one of the seater bags and arranged a Grab to deliver it back. 298.000 VND and about 45min-1 hour later we had the phone back. Everything was perfect 🙏
