From the operators
What our drivers know about this route
Road Decision
We primarily use the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road because it provides a direct path with views of the sea and avoids heavy city traffic. If there are festivals or marathons on the coast, we divert to the Ngu Hanh Son inland road. Both routes are multi-lane and offer a smooth surface for all vehicle types. We avoid the smaller residential alleys to ensure the fastest possible arrival at the mountain gates.Operational Reality
Traffic is heaviest on the Vo Nguyen Giap coastal road during sunset hours when residents and tourists head to the beachfront. On weekend evenings, the Dragon Bridge area can cause minor delays of ten minutes before the car reaches the southern coastal strip. Large tour buses often congest the narrow access roads near the marble workshops between 10:00 and 14:00.Seasonal Notes
The best months for visiting are February to May when the weather is dry and temperatures are moderate. The wet season from October to December makes the marble steps extremely slippery and limits visibility inside the caves.Pickup & Drop-off Specifics
Drivers provide door-to-door service for all hotels in Da Nang, though some narrow alleys in the older city centre may require a walk of twenty metres to the vehicle. At the destination, we drop off at either Gate 1 for the stairs or Gate 2 for the elevator entrance. There are no vehicle height or weight restrictions on the primary access roads to the site.Route Facts
